2008 - Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management Distinguished Member Award “in recognition of your advanced standing in management education, scholarship and leadership”.

2005 - Academy of Management Gender and Diversity Division Janet Chusmir Service Award for “outstanding contributions to the field of gender and diversity in organisations, professional service to the GDO division of the Academy of Management, service as a mentor, and efforts as a champion of multiculturalism”.

2003 - Hautaluoma Award, awarded to an “individual who embodies the spirit of Dr. Hautaluoma by demonstrating (1) work towards improving organizations at the team, group, company and international levels, and (2) a dedication towards helping individuals and organizations become more effective and well adjusted.”

Seven of my students have received best honours thesis prizes.  Five have received a best paper award at the Academy of Management conference; one received a best paper award at the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management conference; one received a best paper award at the Australia an New Zealand Marketing Academy conference; one received a best paper award at the Public Relations conference.  Additionally, one student received a Monash Postgraduate Publication Award.
